Vice Chair, William J. Taylor III, V.P., Government & Regulatory Affairs, Calpine Corporation

William Taylor is Vice President, Government & Regulatory Affairs, for Calpine Corporation and is responsible for managing Calpine’s state regulatory and legislative affairs. Mr. Taylor has served on the Members Representative Committee of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).

Secretary, Vicki Oswalt, Energy Future Holdings

Vicki Oswalt is an expert on regulatory policies and practices, with extensive experience in the electric power and telecommunications industries.  Currently, as Vice President, Regulatory Policy, she is responsible for representing Energy Future Holdings’ interests before the Public Utility Commission of Texas, ERCOT, and other state agencies.

Treasurer, Phil Wilson,  General Manager, Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA)

Phil Wilson became LCRA’s 11th general manager on Feb. 3, 2014. LCRA’s general manager serves as the organization’s chief executive officer and carries out LCRA Board policy, manages LCRA’s relationships with its customers and stakeholders, appoints and directs executive staff, and oversees projects and operations that support LCRA’s public service mission.

Missy Mandell, President, Mandell & Associates, LLC

Missy is the President of Mandell & Associates and serves as executive director of , the Large Public Power Council (LPPC). Missy is a seasoned political consultant and strategist with more than 30 years in governmental relations, public policy development, alliance building, community networking and administration and management in the public and private sector.

Marcus Pridgeon, Energy Manager, Commercial Metals Company

Mr. Pridgeon, who currently serves and Energy Manager for CMC Americas, has spent most of his professional life in the electric utility industry which has provided him extensive experience in the operational aspects of electric generation, transmission, and distribution.

Darren Schauer, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative

Darren Schauer is the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative located in South-Central Texas. He is also President and Chairman of GFS Electric Cooperative, a recently formed energy management cooperative owned by GVEC and one other distribution cooperative in Texas.

Karen R. Johnson,  CEO and President, KRJ Resources

Karen Johnson is CEO of KRJ Resources, LLC, which does lobbying and contracts in the energy field.  Over the last 40 years Karen has worked in the legislature, governor, president of Entergy Texas and worked with and for law firms.   She was previously Chief Executive of Power Across Texas.  She has extensive networking capabilities and alliance building.  She is the first woman president of the Austin Club.
