June 11, 2015 – Austin, TX

In Case You Missed It, on Thursday June 4th, PAT hosted its fourth policy forum of the year with Quorum Report Editor Harvey Kronberg and Texas Energy Report Editor Polly Ross Hughes who shared their valuable insider’s perspective on the recently concluded 2015 Texas Legislative Session as well as early insight into breaking news on the energy front that made headlines later that day.  The robust discussion, which was facilitated by the knowledgeable Robert Cullick, Austin Energy’s Director of Communications and Marketing, covered topics ranging from passage of the controversial HB 40 to the unexpected retirement of longtime State Senator Troy Fraser to the lack of action on the EPA’s Clean Power Plan.

PAT was honored to host special guests Shelly Botkin, ERCOT’s Legislative Director, and Susan Jablonski, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Office of Compliance and Enforcement in addition to a full house that included PAT Board of Directors, PAT Members and their invited guests.

For speaker biographies and background on key issues, please review PAT’s “Come Prepared” briefing document sent to our members prior to the event.
